Final Episode of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 to be a One-Hour Special

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 is set to conclude with a special one-hour episode. The anime production staff of Bleach has confirmed that Part 2 will come to an end on September 30, 2023, with a special episode comprising episodes 25 and 26. Additionally, the episode titled "The Blood Warfare, Separation [Interlude]," which is a compilation of the first half of Part 2, will air on September 2, 2023.

The anime returns to television screens for its second cour on July 8, 2023, on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in Japan, as well as various other streaming services. Part 2 will also be available to viewers in other countries through Disney+ on the same date. In the international version, the anime comes with English, Latin Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Italian subtitles.


Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War

In this new segment, several new voice actors will join the cast, including Aoi Yūki as Liltotto, Tsuyoshi Koyama as Gerald, Soichiro Hoshi as Nianzol, and Nao Toyama as Giselle. The opening theme song "STARS" is performed by the three-member rock band w.o.d., while the closing theme song "Endroll" is composed by Yoh Kamiyama.

The anime first premiered in Japan on October 10, 2022, and was made available on over 20 streaming services in Japan, including Hulu and Disney+. This anime will cover the remaining original manga storyline. The Thousand-Year Blood War arc is the final arc in the manga, spanning volumes 55 to 74.

Tomohisa Taguchi took over as the director of the anime at Studio Pierrot, succeeding Noriyuki Abe. Masashi Kudo returned as the character designer, and Shiro SAGISU returned to compose the music. Several Japanese voice actors who had not appeared in the anime series before will reprise their roles from the game "Bleach: Brave Souls."
