Yhwach, often referred to as "His Majesty" by his subordinates, stands as a central figure in the world of Bleach. As the King of the Wandenreich and the Father of all Quincy, he holds the title of "A" - "The Almighty," and is recognized as the child of the Soul King.


Appearance and Personality

Yhwach possesses a towering stature, with a long face, prominent chin, and high cheekbones. His long black hair flows down to his lower back, while his reddish-brown eyes exude a distinct aura. He sports a well-maintained mustache and connected beard, giving him a regal appearance. His attire is typically composed of a white double-breasted raincoat with the Wandenreich emblem at its center, along with large cuff buttons, a collar, white trousers, and knee-high boots. At times, he wears a long, flowing dark cloak adorned with a large single-buttoned bow near the neck.

His personality is complex, with Yhwach professing a love for peace and a distaste for conflict. He reveres the original Gotei 13 members who instilled fear in his heart during his early days. His admiration extends to figures like Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto. He has a deep affinity for some of his subordinates, treating them as his children, while he also possesses a ruthless side, annihilating even those who were loyal to him, like the Arrancar. Yhwach's character is marked by contradictions, as he values some ideals while rejecting others, all while exuding an air of authority and strength.

Yhwach's origins are steeped in mystery. He is believed to be the progenitor of the Quincy, with his blood flowing through every member of the Quincy lineage. During his infancy, Yhwach was unable to see, hear, speak, or move. Despite these limitations, he remained fearless, knowing that he possessed the power to continue living. Those who touched him experienced gradual enhancements and even gained a piece of his soul. As he grew, his abilities expanded, and he became more mobile. Yhwach's naming process is noteworthy, as he took on the name "YHWACH," which signifies the name of the God worshipped by many, choosing to make it his own.

His evolution continued as he found more potent ways to distribute his soul's power, leading to the creation of the Sternritter and his kingdom, Lichtreich, which conquered vast territories and prepared to invade Soul Society.

Yhwach's involvement in the Thousand-Year Blood War is marked by his strategic movements and relentless pursuit of power. He orchestrates the capture of Hueco Mundo, engages in battles with formidable opponents, and manipulates the events surrounding the Gotei 13 and Ichigo Kurosaki.
