"Kagura Bachi" is the latest manga written and illustrated by Takeru Hokazono. The manga has just started its serialization and currently has only two chapters. This manga tells the story of Chihiro, a swordsmith's son who is on a quest to find his father's killer and the six magical swords stolen by them.
Chihiro is the son of Rokuhara Kunishige, a renowned swordsmith known for crafting powerful swords that were instrumental in the Seitei War. Chihiro learned the art of swordsmithing from a young age and assisted his father in his work. His father also imparted moral values and the responsibilities of a swordsmith to him, which included protecting the weak and defeating evil.

However, their lives took a drastic turn one night when a group of witches attacked their home and killed Kunishige. They also stole six magical swords that Kunishige had kept hidden in the basement. These six swords, known as Youtou, each possess unique and special powers. They were once wielded by Kunishige and his comrades during the Seitei War, and after the war, Kunishige kept them a secret.
Chihiro, severely injured and unconscious, miraculously survived thanks to the seventh sword crafted by Kunishige after the war's end. This sword also possesses magical abilities, being able to change its form according to its owner's desires. Chihiro vows to avenge his father's death and reclaim the six stolen Youtou swords.
On his journey, Chihiro discovers that the witches who killed his father are part of an organization known as Hishaku. This organization has connections to the Yakuza, a criminal group that controls the city and oppresses its residents. Chihiro fights against Yakuza members and witches to gather information about the whereabouts of Hishaku, the mastermind behind all the crimes.
However, Chihiro is not alone in his quest. He encounters several individuals who aid him, such as Shiba, a close friend of his father and a former warrior from the Seitei War, and the Liberation Army, a group dedicated to opposing the Yakuza and saving the people. Together, they face various dangers and obstacles that threaten their lives.
