Mitsuri Kanroji is a major supporting character of the popular manga and anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a member of the Demon Slayer Corps, an organization that fights against demons who prey on humans. Mitsuri holds the position of Love Hashira (恋こい柱ばしら Koi Bashira?), one of the nine most powerful swordsmen in the corps.

Appearance and Personality
Mitsuri is a curvaceous young woman with a slightly pale complexion and round, pale green eyes. She has long, light pink hair that fades into a lime green color at the halfway point, which she wears in three thick braids. She also has five shorter, choppy clumps hanging over her face as bangs. She has a small beauty mark beneath each eye. When she was trying to get married, her hair was dyed black to make herself look more “normal.”
Mitsuri wears a modified version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform, which consists of a dark brown gakuran jacket and a white belt. Her uniform is pink-tinted and has a tight fit, leaving the chest area unbuttoned. She also wears a short pleated skirt instead of the usual pants. Over her uniform, she wears a plain white haori that was gifted to her by Kyojuro Rengoku, the Flame Hashira.[5] She also wears navy blue thigh-high socks with lime-green stripes and white zōri sandals with pink straps.
Mitsuri is a very emotional, passionate, and jovial person who constantly compliments people in her head. She is very kind and caring towards others, especially towards Obanai Iguro, the Snake Hashira, whom she has a strong bond and romantic feelings with. She can be shy and easily flustered, but she also has a fierce and determined side when facing demons. She is loyal and dedicated to the Demon Slayer Corps and its cause.
Mitsuri joined the corps with the hope of finding a husband stronger than her, since she had a hard time finding one due to her abnormal muscular constitution and strength. However, she felt guilty for her selfish reason and ate less than usual. She was able to overcome her insecurity with the help of Shinobu Kocho, the Insect Hashira, and Obanai Iguro.
Mitsuri can also be somewhat childlike and excitable at times. She often expresses her love for things or people with exaggerated gestures and words. She likes to hug her friends and show them affection. She also describes things using noises and sounds instead of words.

Abilities and Fighting Style
As a Hashira, Mitsuri is one of the most powerful and skilled combatants in the Demon Slayer Corps. She completed the Final Selection, a survival test for aspiring Demon Slayers, within six months of training, which was considered outstanding by Kyojuro Rengoku. She has shown her abilities in several battles against powerful demons, such as Upper Rank Five Gyokko, Upper Rank Four Hantengu, Upper Rank Four Nakime, and Muzan Kibutsuji, the first and strongest demon.
Mitsuri has a special muscular composition that makes her muscles eight times denser than that of a normal human. This gives her incredible strength and endurance that surpasses most humans and demons. She can lift heavy objects with ease and withstand attacks that would normally kill or injure someone. To maintain her body’s condition, she eats as much as three sumo wrestlers.
Mitsuri also has an extremely flexible body that allows her to achieve a wide range of motion. She uses her flexibility to perform acrobatic moves and dodge attacks. Her flexibility also enables her to wield her unique Nichirin Sword, which is thin and long like a whip. Her sword can bend and weave through targets, hitting multiple areas or the same area multiple times.
Mitsuri created her own Breathing Style called Love Breathing (恋こいの呼こ吸きゅう Koi no kokyū?), based on her experience using Flame Breathing (炎ほのおの呼こ吸きゅう Honō no kokyū?), which she learned from Kyojuro Rengoku. Love Breathing incorporates elements of fire, sound, wind, and lightning into its techniques, which are named after love-related terms. Using Love Breathing, Mitsuri can unleash powerful slashes that cover a wide area and long range.
Techniques
First Form: Shivers of First Love (壱いちノ型かた 初はつ恋こいのわななき Ichi no kata: Hatsukoi no Wananaki?) - The user dashes forward and performs a single slash that winds through the target, hitting multiple areas with one slice.
Second Form: Love Pangs (弐にノ型かた 懊おう悩のう巡めぐる恋こい Ni no kata: Ōnō Meguru Koi?) - The user performs a singular, long-winding swing that cuts the target at multiple angles.
Third Form: Catlove Shower (参さんノ型かた 恋こい猫ねこしぐれ San no kata: Koi Neko Shigure?) - The user leaps into the air and performs multiple arched slashes in quick succession.
Fifth Form: Swaying Love, Wildclaw (伍ごノ型かた 揺ゆらめく恋れん情じょう・乱みだれ爪づめ Go no kata: Yurameku Renjō Midarezume?) - The user leaps into the air before performing a somersault and releasing dozens of rapid, winding slashes from afar that essentially form a tornado of slashes.
Sixth Form: Cat-Legged Winds of Love (陸ろくノ型かた 猫ねこ足あし恋こい風かぜ Roku no kata: Neko Ashi Koi Kaze?) - The user fully extends their sword to perform an arcing slash before retracting it and extending it once more, done in quick succession to form a layers of slashes.

Mitsuri also awakened her Demon Slayer Mark during her battle against Zohakuten (憎ぞう珀はく天てん Zōhakuten?), one of Hantengu’s clones that represents his hatred. The mark takes the form of two hearts upside down and opposite from each other with angel wings on both sides where the two heart tips meet. The mark appears near her neck, close to her clavicle. The mark enhances Mitsuri’s physical abilities and allows her to access the Transparent World, a state where she can see the muscles, veins, bones, and blood flow of living beings.
