Muichiro Tokito is one of the main supporting characters in the 2016 dark fantasy manga and anime series "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba." He is one of the nine Hashira, an elite group within the Demon Slayer Corps, and the youngest among them. He is also a descendant of the first swordsmith who pioneered the Breath of Mist style, a genius mastering the Mist Breathing technique.

Muichiro is a 14-year-old boy with a youthful and delicate appearance. He has pale blue-green eyes that are large and empty, and his skin is very fair. He is quite short and has a slender body, which led Tanjiro to initially perceive him as physically weak. Muichiro's long, straight black hair fades into a pale blue-green color as it approaches his waist, and he leaves his hair completely untied. There are two tufts of hair that slightly protrude from each side of his head, two strands of hair that frame his face, and an unruly fringe above his forehead.
He wears a variation of the standard Demon Slayer Corps uniform, with longer and looser sleeves resembling a kimono. His pants are also looser, and there is no leg strap. His uniform has a hint of the pale blue-green color that matches his hair and eyes.
Personality
Muichiro can be described as sarcastic but innocent, with a tendency to be insensitive without intending to hurt anyone. He is a forgetful and apathetic individual who finds it difficult to focus on anything, often appearing apathetic and unconcerned about others' emotions. Nevertheless, he takes his position as the Mist Hashira seriously and can become serious when the situation demands it. He is loyal to his master, Kagaya Ubuyashiki, but can also display a cold and arrogant side to those he does not respect.
Muichiro's personality is a result of losing his memories after the death of his older twin brother, Yuichiro. He adopted his older brother's indifferent personality and forgot his own past. His original personality was more affectionate and optimistic, but he regained it after interacting with Tanjiro Kamado and recalling his family. He became more emotionally expressive and caring toward his friends, creating happy memories like the ones he shared with his family before losing his memory.

Muichiro was born as the younger twin brother of Yuichiro Tokito, who was a cheerful and kind-hearted boy. They lived with their parents in a small village where they were happy and beloved by everyone. However, when they were 10 years old, their village was attacked by demons, and their parents were killed. Yuichiro protected Muichiro from the demons, but he was severely injured in the process. Before dying, he instructed Muichiro to live on and gave him his sword.
Muichiro wandered aimlessly after losing his family until he encountered Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps. Kagaya recognized Muichiro's potential and invited him to join the Corps. Muichiro agreed, but he lost his memory along the way.
Muichiro then underwent rigorous training under the guidance of Shinjuro Rengoku, the father of Kyojuro Rengoku. In just two months, he managed to become a Hashira, an achievement previously accomplished only by Gyomei Himejima. He also developed his own Breath of Mist technique, known as the Mist Hashira.
Muichiro was introduced when the Hashira held a meeting with Kagaya Ubuyashiki regarding Nezuko's fate. Disinterested in the meeting, he was distracted by clouds passing over the house. Muichiro received Kagaya's order that Nezuko was an ally and a fellow Demon Slayer.
He was later seen learning about Kyojuro Rengoku's death at the hands of Akaza.
