| Uzumaki Kenjaku |
Uzumaki is one of the most terrifying cursed techniques in the anime and manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. It is the highest-level technique of curse manipulation, allowing its user to merge all the cursed spirits they possess into a dense and highly concentrated whirlpool of cursed energy. Uzumaki possesses immense destructive power, capable of destroying anything in its path. This technique was first used by Geto, a former jujutsu sorcerer who became the primary antagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen 0. Geto used Uzumaki to attack Yuta Okkotsu, the main character of the prequel. Yuta himself is a jujutsu sorcerer with the ability to mimic cursed techniques from others, including the innate technique of the cursed spirit Rika Orimoto, his deceased childhood friend.
With Rika's assistance, Yuta managed to defeat Geto and his Uzumaki. After Geto was mortally wounded, he encountered Gojo, who ended his life. However, it turned out that Geto's abandoned body was possessed by Kenjaku, an ancient jujutsu sorcerer with evil plans to reshape the world. Kenjaku later reappeared in Jujutsu Kaisen and used Uzumaki as one of his weapons. Kenjaku even had the ability to enhance Uzumaki by extracting the innate techniques from the cursed spirits incorporated into it, provided that the cursed spirits were at least semi-grade 1 and possessed cursed techniques. For example, after absorbing and using Mahito as fuel, Kenjaku gained the ability to use Mahito's Idle Transfiguration. Idle Transfiguration is a cursed technique that allows its user to alter the physical form of a person by touching their soul. With this technique, Kenjaku could transform himself or others into anything he desired.
Additionally, there is a smaller and weaker version of Uzumaki called Mini Uzumaki. Kenjaku used Mini Uzumaki for sending messages or surveillance purposes. Despite its smaller size, Mini Uzumaki successfully manipulated Yuki Tsukumo, one of the oldest clans of jujutsu sorcerers, to join his side.
Uzumaki is an incredibly dangerous and frightening cursed technique, showcasing the immense power of Geto (Kenjaku) as an antagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen. It also demonstrates the diversity of cursed techniques in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, adding depth and excitement to the story.
