ANIMEKO.ORG - Sukuna is one of the most terrifying characters in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He is the cursed king with 20 fingers and 4 eyes, the source of all curses in the world. Sukuna is incredibly powerful and ruthless, often killing those around him for fun or when his mood sours. Only a few individuals like Uraume and Kenjaku can interact with him freely.
However, some characters are considered lucky as they managed to survive encounters with the cursed king. Who are they? Here is the list:
1. Yuji Itadori

Itadori is the main protagonist of the series, becoming a curse hunter after swallowing one of Sukuna's fingers. Thus, he becomes a vessel for Sukuna's soul, which often takes over his body and threatens his life. Yuji can be considered both dangerous and lucky. He survived despite frequently facing Sukuna, both within and outside his body. He even managed to capture Sukuna's interest and convinced him to form a binding pact.
2. Mahito

Mahito is a special curse with the ability to manipulate other people's souls. He is a significant enemy of Yuji, killing his friends and attempting to damage Yuji's soul with his curse techniques. However, this led him to deal with Sukuna, who gave him a stern warning not to touch Yuji's soul again. Mahito ignored the warning and tried to manipulate Yuji's soul again within his Domain Expansion. As a result, he faced Sukuna's retaliation, with his body being slashed by Sukuna's shadow sword. Despite severe injuries, Mahito survived and even escaped Sukuna during the Shibuya battle, as Sukuna was solely focused on eliminating Yuji.
3. Panda

Panda is a curse hunter from the Jujutsu Tokyo school with a panda-shaped body. He is a close friend of Yuji, often assisting him in various missions. Panda encountered Sukuna when he and Kusakabe were facing Geto's old subordinates. Sukuna appeared in the sky and warned them not to move, as he was enjoying his battle with Jogo. If they moved, Sukuna would mercilessly kill them. Panda and Kusakabe were forced to freeze in place, even though they knew Jogo's meteor was about to strike. Fortunately, they survived Sukuna's warning and Jogo's meteor.
4. Kusakabe

Kusakabe, a curse hunter from the Jujutsu Tokyo school with the ability to manipulate wind, is one of Yuji's seniors. He mentored Yuji in a mission to rescue Gojo. Kusakabe also encountered Sukuna in the same situation as Panda. Realizing they needed to escape, Kusakabe urged them to leave the area, as the aftermath of Sukuna and Jogo's battle would soon reach them. However, he was delayed by Geto's old followers, hindering his escape. When he attempted to flee, Sukuna appeared and threatened him to stay put. Kusakabe had no choice but to obey Sukuna's command. Fortunately, he also survived Sukuna's warning and Jogo's meteor.
5. Maki Zenin

Maki Zenin, a curse hunter from the Jujutsu Tokyo school with incredible physical abilities, is a member of the Zenin clan known for their cursed eyes. However, Maki lacks cursed eyes, making her an outcast in her family. Maki faced Sukuna when she and Yuji tried to save Megumi from Yorozu's clutches. During the encounter, Sukuna took over Megumi's body and dropped Hana Kurusu. Maki immediately teamed up with Yuji to fight Sukuna in hand-to-hand combat. Sukuna, impressed by Maki's fighting prowess, praised her for being someone who could endure his battles. The fight between Maki and Sukuna ended abruptly due to Uraume's intervention, inviting Sukuna to leave with them.
6. Hana Kurusu

Hana Kurusu is a participant in the Culling Game and a member of Yuji's group. She is a curse hunter with the ability to destroy curses with her hands. Hana was attacked by Sukuna when Yorozu took control of Tsumiki's body and fled. Luckily, she survived because Sukuna was still bound by the pact with Yuji, preventing him from harming anyone for one minute. Hana even nearly killed Sukuna with her anti-curse technique. Unfortunately, she fell into Sukuna's deception when he pretended to be Megumi, resulting in severe injuries. Fortunately, Hana escaped death with the timely arrival of other curse hunters.
These are the six characters fortunate enough to escape Sukuna, the cursed king. They managed to survive despite facing a powerful and ruthless creature.
