ANIMEKO.ORG - Megumi Fushiguro is one of the main characters in the manga and anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a first-year student at Jujutsu High School in Tokyo and the heir of the Zenin clan, one of the four major cursed sorcerer families. Megumi possesses the unique ability to summon Shikigami, protective spirits formed from shadows.
One of the Shikigami owned by Megumi is Mahoraga, who is the strongest Shikigami of the Zenin family. Mahoraga takes the form of a giant humanoid with four arms and eight eyes. He wears traditional Japanese attire and carries a large sword on his right arm.
Mahoraga possesses tremendously terrifying power, even among other Shikigami. He is the only Shikigami that has never been tamed in the history of the Zenin family. Megumi is certain that during the Zenin clan's conflict with the Gojo clan, the leader of the Zenin clan at that time couldn't subdue Mahoraga.
Mahoraga has the ability to adapt to all types of cursed techniques, thanks to the defensive wheel on his body. The wheel can rotate and change its color according to the type of curse it faces. Thus, Mahoraga can neutralize the effects of the curse and even reflect them back to the user.
The most striking power of Mahoraga lies in the anti-curse sword attached to his right arm. The sword bears a resemblance to the Kusanagi sword, one of Japan's three sacred treasures. This sword holds immense power and can cut through anything in its path. It is highly effective against cursed spirits, even those at special-grade levels.
Mahoraga once fought against Ryoumen Sukuna, the curse king with 20 fingers and 4 arms. Sukuna is an incredibly powerful cursed spirit who can take control of Yuji Itadori's body, Megumi's classmate. In their battle, Mahoraga showcased his extraordinary strength, forcing Sukuna to resort to using domain expansion to defeat him. Domain expansion is a cursed technique that creates a special space advantageous to the user.
The fight between Sukuna and Mahoraga might have been one of the large-scale battles that occurred in Shibuya, the site of a major incident involving numerous cursed spirits and sorcerers.
