Chapter 241 begins with a flashback to Takaba's past when he was still in college. He was a student with aspirations to become a professional comedian. He often practiced jokes with his friends to perform on stage. However, he was also a perfectionist and strict with himself and others. He was not satisfied with making only some people laugh; he wanted to make everyone laugh.

He often received criticism and ridicule from people who did not like his jokes. He felt lonely and unappreciated. He thought that if he could make everyone know him and understand his jokes, he would no longer feel lonely.

The flashback ends, and we return to the real world, where Kenjaku is facing Takaba. Kenjaku is a user of a powerful and cunning Cursed Technique. He plans to destroy the world by using cursed stars and has the ability to take over the bodies of others.

Takaba is a comedian with a strange Cursed Technique. He can write words on someone's face by touching them. These words can influence the emotions and behavior of the person according to their meaning. For example, if he writes "angry" on someone's face, that person will become very angry.

In the previous chapter, Takaba successfully wrote "laugh" on Kenjaku's face by touching him while talking to him. This made Kenjaku laugh uncontrollably. However, Kenjaku managed to erase the word using a knife and started attacking Takaba fiercely.

In this chapter, Kenjaku is about to stab Takaba with a knife, but suddenly he stops when he sees Takaba bowing in front of him in a dogeza position. Dogeza is a body posture when someone prostrates themselves to apologize sincerely. Kenjaku is fascinated by Takaba's dogeza and says that he could only reach that level when he was in his late twenties.

Takaba then screams an apology to Kenjaku while crying. He confesses that he lied about his jokes and that he only wanted to make everyone laugh except Kenjaku. He says that he doesn't want to be hurt by Kenjaku and that he threw away Yuji to protect himself.

He also says that he won't be satisfied even if he can make 99 out of 100 people laugh. He wants to make Kenjaku laugh until his stomach vomits because that's the way his comedy works.

Kenjaku asks if he can do it, but before he can finish his sentence, Takaba's Cursed Technique becomes active again, and he writes the word "waku-waku" (excited) on Kenjaku's face. This makes Kenjaku look very excited and happy.

The chapter ends with the editor's comment saying, "Steal his laugh, give them full laughter!!"
